CLIC Clinical Skills Programme: Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management (Cohort 23)

This is a half day workshop for nurses, assistant practitioners and associate nurses to give you the tools to effectively assess, manage, reduce risk and diagnose ulcers. You will also learn what equipment to use and not to use with patients.

It is designed to develop, support and/or update you with skills and knowledge in preventing and managing pressure ulcers:

• Pressure ulcer assessment

• Pressure ulcer management

• Risk reduction

• Diagnosis – grading and cause

• Equipment usage: when, where, what and why equipment should or should not be used

Please note that we will be delivering a workshop on Wound Assessment & Product Selection workshop on the same day.  If you want to attend both sessions please ensure you have booked on to both via the CLIC website.
