Health and social care organisations face some immense challenges, which will require all of us to think differently and approach problem solving innovatively. In order to meet our patients’ and service users' expectations and provide quality care, we must constantly improve and develop. Becoming creative thinkers, unlocking potential and implementing new ideas are an essential part of building a culture of improvement.
It has never been more important to unlock our creativity and maximise our potential for innovation, problem solving and improvement – this year, our LOC in the Lakes Festival brings committed learning organisations together to explore their creativity, learn to think differently and understand the link between creativity and improvement.
“There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns."
— Edward de Bono
