CLIC Clinical Skills Programme: Wound Assessment and Product Selection (Cohort 8)

This is a half day workshop to give you the tools to effectively assess wounds and select the correct products to use with patients. It is relevant to registered Nurses engaged in wound assessment.  It is designed to develop, support and/or update you with skills and knowledge in wound assessment and product selection:

• How wounds heal

• Stages of healing

• What stops a wound healing

• Wound assessment

• Appropriate product choice

• Appropriate product use

• Evaluation and re-evaluation

Please note that we will be delivering a workshop on Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management on the same day.  If you want to attend both sessions please ensure you have booked on to both via the CLIC website.
