We are pleased to share with you a copy of Cumbria Learning and Improvement Collaborative's Six Month Report (April - September 2019).


We are in a very momentous phase – the new Integrated Care Organisation has come into being built on a clear set of common values, a clear vision of improvement and a structure devoted to getting care closer to where people live as well as more joined up when they need specialist services. However, our plans as a system need us all to change. We need to enter a world where cooperation is expected and collaboration drives quality improvement. An era where the traditional silos of primary and secondary care give way to integrated health pathways.


CLIC needs to change and develop as it strives to help the new health and care partnership flourish. We need to think about all education and all improvement and all leadership as integrated whole system support systems. We have adapted to changes in personnel and budget. Now we need to support staff getting to grips with new ways of working...
