Allyship is the practice of working in solidarity with those within marginalised groups. Allyship is a verb, not a noun; and as leaders it is our responsibility to use our power and privilege to support those facing discrimination. We can all develop by taking time in each day to be attentive to how we speak and act, unlearning and relearning what we understand about the world, and seeking feedback from those we seek to ally ourselves with.

To support the development of allyship, the Midlands Leadership Academy team have created an excellent allyship toolkit
