Do you work in health care or a care home?
Come and share how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted upon you...

Wednesday 5th May, 7.30pm
- approx. 75 minutes via Zoom

Friday 7th May, 1.30pm - approx. 75 minutes via Zoom

The North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Staff Wellbeing Hub, in partnership with Playback Theatre York, warmly invites you to an online performance: Beyond the Mask – Your Stories Seen and Heard. In Playback Theatre, real moments and stories from the audience are spontaneously brought to life by actors and musicians. It’s a form of community theatre that is used around the world to witness individual experience, build connection, encourage reflection and share common feeling. Sometimes people come with stories they want to tell, and sometimes stories are inspired by the performance. Sometimes people come simply to watch.

“This was a great way for us to share our stories with each other. I felt closer to everyone by the end.”

“I was concerned about coming to this when I knew it was interactive… to hear everyone else’s hopes and challenges has been really helpful. I’m thankful for the opportunity.”

These events are part of The Staff Wellbeing Hub’s programme to support the region’s health and care staff to stay mentally well throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. They will be recorded for a short film that celebrates the dedication of staff throughout the past year.

Tickets are free
