As National Self Care Week approaches (15 – 21 November 2021), we wanted to use this opportunity to encourage you to take some time for yourself, and consider signing-up for an upcoming learning and development opportunity. 

Keeping connected to others and maintaining a sense of perspective can really help to support your mental wellness. We have all felt the strain of the last 20 months on some, if not many levels, and as another winter fast approaches, it is essential that we continue look after ourselves and others.  

NHS 5 steps to mental wellbeing highlights the importance of learning new skills to boost self-confidence and self-esteem, build your sense of purpose, and make those all-important connections with others. Even if you think you don’t have time, a commitment (however small) can have some real benefits.
