Venepuncture and Cannulation (Cohort 56)

PLEASE NOTE: Could ALL Healthcare Assistants ensure they have completed their Care Certificate prior to attending this course.

This is a FREE event for Health Care Assistants (Band 3&4) and Registered Nursing staff working within Cumbria 

 The aim of this workshop is to develop both theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in order to perform Venepuncture & Peripheral IV Cannulation safely and efficiently  

Required elearning to be completed prior to attendance:

  • For staff previously employed by NCUH prior to the merger  -  261 Venepuncture eLearning and 261 Cannulation & IV therapy
  • For staff previously employed by CPFT prior to the merger -  000North: Clinical Skills Online Venepuncture Training and 262 Cannulation & IV Therapy

Please note, you are required to attend both the Venepuncture and Peripheral IV Cannulation parts of this event, separate Venepuncture only and Peripheral IV Cannulation only events can be found here.
