An Introduction to Managing Projects (Cohort 4)


All staff (clinical and non-clinical) in the health and care system who would like a basic understanding of projects and project management.


Project management is an essential skill-set for many roles. This virtual workshop is ideal If you need to manage projects at work, while not necessarily being a formally trained project manager. It is also suitable if you are considering undertaking a project in the near future and are seeking to learn and apply essential project management knowledge and skills.

Aims and outcomes are:

  • Define project management
  • Understand the difference between project management and programme management
  • Identify the stages in the project management life cycle
  • Understand how to bring people with you through change
  • Know what tools you can use at different stages of a project
