Community of Practice (Cohort 2)

By Invitation Only

Communities of Practice are “groups of people who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their knowledge and expertise on an ongoing basis.”

Practitioners can benefit from Communities of Practice by learning and working with others to accelerate practice improvements.

The aim of the four sessions working together locally is:

  • To give you time as a group to share your thinking on your developing roles, what is working well what needs to improve.
  • To give you opportunity to really think about what you are learning from the training and the work itself that could be useful to others in your role.
  • To come together as a group for support and build network that will sustain after the training finishes.

The dates of the sessions are as follow:

  • 10-12.30pm 31 Oct 2019 at Cleator Moor Health Centre
  • 1-3.30pm 17 Dec 2019 at the Kirkgate Centre, Cockermouth
  • 10-12.30pm 29 Jan 2020 at Health Education Room Workington Hospital
  • 1-3.30pm 11 March 2020 Training Room Workington Hospital
