Green Network: October 2022

WHO IS IT FOR? 

This ongoing network is open to all staff (clinical and non-clinical) who would like to learn and share ideas on how they can reduce their carbon foot-print and live and work more sustainably. 

ABOUT THE SESSION 

In this session we will be joined by guest speaker Dr Clare Winter, Senior Net Zero Programme Manager for North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System. Clare will be sharing with us the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) Green Plan. She will also be discussing the journey in creating the plan, as well as the next steps.

The Green network will focus on building knowledge and awareness of the climate crisis and how we can be more environmentally sustainable across the North and West Cumbria health and care system.

• Network with likeminded people passionate about green issues
• Increase awareness of the environmental impact healthcare has on our planet
• Build and share knowledge on how we can reduce our carbon foot-print and live and work more sustainably
• Embed improvements and greener options into the way that we work
