Human Factors are recognised as an essential part of patient safety and a significant contributor to adverse events in healthcare. They encompass all the factors (environmental, organisational and job factors, and individual characteristics) that can influence behaviour at work.
Aim:
This workshop aims to give you an understanding and appreciation of how human factors awareness can create a safer place for patients and a more productive environment for healthcare workers.
This training is suitable for those new to Human Factors as well as those who would like to refresh their existing knowledge.
