Management of Central Venous Access Devices (Cohort 19)

This is a FREE course for Registered Staff working within Cumbria only 

The objectives of the training are: 

  • To develop an understanding of the different central venous access devices and insertion sites
  • To understand asepsis principles and the importance of a closed system
  • To understand correct drug administration technique
  • To understand correct blood sampling technique
  • To understand correct maintenance of site/line including dressing change.
