Management of Central Venous Access Devices (Cohort 36)
This is a FREE course for Registered Staff working within Cumbria only
The objectives of the training are:
- To develop an understanding of the different central venous access devices and insertion sites
- To understand asepsis principles and the importance of a closed system
- To understand correct drug administration technique
- To understand correct blood sampling technique
- To understand correct maintenance of site/line including dressing change.
