Street Wisdom

Learning Organisation Collaborative (LOC) Sixth International Festival #LOCintheLakes

Street Wisdom is a simple but powerful way of using your everyday environment to find answers and inspiration. It’s the perfect way to find calm and focus. It’s a guided walking mindfulness experience and the perfect antidote if you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed or just a little stuck…

In this workshop, people go out into the physical world as a group – facilitated by someone who leads them through a series of stages to help them focus on their environment and their own wellbeing, whilst also addressing any potential work-related questions.

Pre-session preparation:

Think of a question that you want to bring to the session and get some fresh perspectives or ideas. It can be about work, life or both.

Here are some of the things people have asked in the past:

  • Where should I buy a new house?
  • How to solve a problem at work?
  • How can I have more fun?
  • Should I take the new job or stay with the old one?
  • What new product could I invent?
  • How can I turn my hobby into a business?
  • I want to learn something new – what should it be?
  • How can I make more friends?
