Workplace Wellbeing – Thrive not survive (Cohort 5)


Anybody that works in health and care, and staff in any role within local authority. 


The session aims to be a practical and thought provoking look at what resilience and wellbeing are, and a look at ways to focus on them and ultimately plan to get more of what you want in the workplace. It also provides a safe, confidential space to share your personal experiences if you wish to.


The session will cover the following areas:

  • Understanding resilience and what it means to us as individuals
  • Spotting our resilient role models
  • How to spot the signs and symptoms of stress in yourself and others
  • Working on our own attention, awareness & focus - noticing the impact of thoughts, emotions and feelings
  • Starting the process of building your mind-set for resilience
  • Spending time experiencing a ‘Pick and Mix ‘of activities and tools to build resilience

The sessions are aimed at anyone who is interested in looking at their own personal resilience and developing strategies and habits to build resilience in themselves (and others). This workshop has been designed collaboratively with Cumbria County Council and staff from this workforce are particularly encouraged as well as staff from the NHS and third sector.


The session will take place via Microsoft Teams, and a link will be emailed to registered delegates a few days in advance.
