Taking my influences from humanistic, positive and transpersonal psychology, coaching to me is about the development of a person beyond the everyday fulfilling of objectives. I believe that each individual is capable of much more than their current performance, and that given proper opportunity, with the promotion of learning, development and personal growth, coaching can empower an individual to become truly effective, achieving greater meaning and purpose in their life (not just their career).
My approach to coaching practice ultimately centres on building an effective relationship, and by putting the client at the heart of the whole process, I am able to create the conditions in which they can explore their present situation, and move towards taking positive action.
